Who are the volunteers?
Registered members of the local community,
with an hour or two to spare, at their convenience.
All volunteers have a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB checks) and certificate which we arrange and pay for.
How do I become a volunteer?
Ring the helpline.
The Duty Officer will give your name to the Volunteer Coordinator who will talk to you in more detail.
The type, timing and amount of help that you can give will always be entirely up to you.
